Dance
In Dance classes, our children enjoy music and rhythm as well as
physical exercise. Children develop confidence
in their body and a good sense of
rhythm, movement
and gross motor coordination.

Music is also enjoyable and allows children to discover teamwork as they learn the
steps to their dance.Finally, it is a sport that is beneficial for overall physical
development.

Cookery
In Cookery, our children learn to appreciate the sophisticated process
of creating food and promote healthy eating and adventurousness towards trying new
food. Cooking classes provide a natural practice
for estimating, measuring,
dividing and other related
maths skills and
observation, experimentation,
language and
number practice.

Children discover the amazing process whereby raw ingredients prepared and mixed
in certain ways will create edible and delicious products. All recipes are reproducible
by parents and children at home and include homemade
gelato (ice-cream), pancakes,
sushi and more.

Speech & Drama
In Speech & Drama, our children gain confidence, enthusiasm, communication
and social skills as they explore the world of drama by
role-playing, acting,
creative movements,
dialogue development and more.
|
|
|
|
The lessons are fun as our children expand their imagination in learning to differentiate
various modes of human expressions and communications in sound,body language and
movement, words, social interactions and the usage of props. Children will be presenting
short scripted production for their friends and families at the end of each year.
Towards Kindergarten Two, children will also be able to explore writing short plays
of their own and then acting it out! |

Arts & Craft / Science Experiments
In Arts & Craft, our children become
more aware of their five senses, develop skills
in comparing, classifying,
contrasting, and
organising, and acquire
artistic awareness in forms, colours,
texturesand
materials and the skills (i.e. fine motor skills)
required in handling them.

Through Arts & Craft, children learn appreciate the world around them, develop a
positive attitude towards exploring and making sense of their experience, and discover
the pleasures of working creatively with others. Arts & Craft is integrated in many
areas of the curriculum i.e. English, Mandarin and Mathematics. A special period
is also designated to full exploration of Arts & Craft weekly. |
